How to manage your financial risks in a recession

Entering a new season reminds us that change is inevitable in life. For 60 years, Liberty has worked to change the realities of its customers through far more challenging environments than we face today. Through resilience, adaptation and experience, we’ve continued to be the number one underwriter of new risk business by sum assured for thirteen years in a row.

Leadership is critical in times of uncertainty. As South Africa faces many challenges, Liberty is confident in the ability of newly appointed CEO David Munro to see the organisation through this period. David has been on the Liberty board since February, having previously headed up Standard Bank’s Group Corporate and Investment Banking division.
